Correct, but we are working backwards on this one. The OP is looking for a FF compatible lens in the 30mm range for an APS-C camera, and I'm implying that if they like the 30mm range on APS-C then it is the same as a 50mm lens on full frame camera. The OP wants lenses that are FF compatible, therefore why would they get rid of the FA50 when it is identical FOV to a 30mm lens on an APS-C camera.

that's right but he meant that 50mm on FF/film, behaves like 33 on APS-C. In that logic, keeping 50 for film bodies or/and FF digital would make sense. The question is if OP owns/uses film bodies or is planning to shell out for FF if/when it eventually comes out... if not... well, I wrote it before
