Minolta 85mm vs Pentax 77mm

Since I am switching back to Minolta, thought I would look at these under the same conditions.

K7 vs Maxxum 7D (not really fair)

Both lenses are about the same sharpness at F1.8
The Minolta at 1.4 is a bit softer

The 77mm has bad CA vs the minolta - which I was surprised

Looks like 3:0 for the Minolta.

Is this the round aperture AF lens you're talking about, as in here
Minolta*AF 85 F1.4 G RS*2629-118 lens for Sony Alpha - Minolta camera mount

I had a severe glance at this lens and I'm still thinking about getting one "to store away" for a Sony 850 the day those things get down
to the price of that lens (which is still something like 1.000 US-$ up but probably justified so).

If you could tell me about AF performance on a Sony DSLR I would very much appriate it. Heard from others that AF is not reliable with such combo.
I actually had the same experience with SMC-F lenses on Pentax DSLR's (but that's another story).
