not only has the price of this lens skyrocketed, it has also disappeared from the used market.

guess people really like their copies?

Well, you're not getting mine :-).

B&H seems out of stock, but Adorama has it for the usual (these days) $340 US, if you can do that without import duties or whatever messing things up. I wouldn't expect to find it much cheaper used - even if they are inclined to sell it, people who own this lens generally know the current going rate.
