Pentax Quantaray 70-210 MM Lens Universal Mount

I'm new to the DSLR world and purchased a K-x and love it! Amazing camera and excited to really explore its features. My question is this: I got a Pentax Quantaray 70-210 MM Lens with a Universal Mount on e-bay assuming it would fit this camera and it does not. Is there an adapter I can get to get this lens to fit or should I chalk this up to a learning experience. Thanks for any assistance.

There is no "universal mount". The only mount that is generally ever billed as such is the M42 screwmount, but I don't remember there ever being any Quantaray zoom lenses for that mount. Post a picture of the rear of the lens (with the cap off), or a link to the webpage showing the item you bought.
