Ebay bargain?

I decided to keep an eye out for a pentax 1.7x af teleconverter for my new 300mm f2.8 tamron - and found this auction:
Pentax SMC 70-210, 28 and 50 mm lenses + teleconverter - eBay Film Camera Lenses, Lenses, Photographic Accessories, Cameras. (end time 16-Jan-10 23:58:57 AEDST)

Happily, the teleconverter is in great condition, as are the lenses. I had budgeted for about $300 for the TC - so did I pick up a bargain?

Can anyone advise me on what I price I should be offering these lenses for (I only wanted the TC):

SMC Pentax-M 1:2.8 28mm

SMC Pentax-M 1:2 50mm

SMC Pentax-A ZOOM 1:4 70-210mm

It's about right. $250-350 for the TC, $40-60 for the 28mm, $15-30 for the 50mm, and $75-100 for the 70-210. Good score!

It's too bad that eBay.com reorganized their categories. We have no "Film camera lenses" categories for bargains to hide in anymore.

I agree about Wally's prices, except converting into Australian dollars makes your bargain look even better.

I would not sell on the 70-210 zoom, without at least giving it a try. I keep one, despite mostly using a 70-200/2.8, simply because it is much smaller and giving very good IQ.

Thanks for the responses.

Once you convert to AUD, I think I definitely did well.

Adding to the bargain is that I just sold the filters that came with it for AUD$30.

Ben - I've already got a sigma 50-150mm f2.8 (which I bought after selling my 70-200mm which was too big) so I don't really have a need for this one.

I have put all 3 of them on ebay with a 99c starting price - I'll report back after they have sold so you can see how close to the mark your estimates were! Surprisingly the 50mm is currently leading the race at AUD$26 with a week still to run on the auctions!

Not gloating (much) - just an encouragement that the odd ebay bargain can still be found! Though they are getting rarer and rarer.

The K-x is starting to gain some market share in Australia - a quick look at the photography section on Australia's most popular forum, Photography - Whirlpool Forums shows it is the most recommended entry level DSLR these days - so ebay bargains are very rare because there is much higher demand from this new wave of Pentaxians and only limited supply on ebay Australia.

I said I'd report back how much the lenses sold for, so here it is:

$30 Various extra Filters

$60 SMC Pentax-M 1:2.8 28mm

$25 SMC Pentax-M 1:2 50mm

$115 SMC Pentax-A ZOOM 1:4 70-210mm

Ebay fees were covered by postage charged on each item I sold.

The lot cost me $410 delivered, so the 1.7x teleconverter ended up costing me AUD$180

Ebay Bargain? YES!
