Seriously - I don't mind spending $150 for an art piece like Leica and just leave it sitting there but I have a real problem buying that piece of metal for $100. Besides, I got my first Elmar for $75 then the second one for only $54 they both look really nice.

Also, I don't see the Elmar 9cm f4 listed in the left column which I assume list all models that could be converted. Are you sure Elmar 9cm f4 can be converted?

I might as well have some metal guys here in Vietnam to mold that mount for me. They would probably do that for few bucks!

Your leica is Leica-M bayonet... the adapter is for Leica-R bayonet so dont buy these adapters because it is not for you lens!

Leica M39 have the different register but I think you'll find some Zenit M39s lens work off the same register distance as M42 which is the case for my Helios 40.

Well, Leica M39 lenses have a register distance of 28.8mm only, so, whatever the mount adapter, they will never be able to focus to infinity on a Pentax DSLR ... That's why they are so cheap ...

The lenses that may be converted are the Leica R ones, but they require another budget, too ...

Nevertheless, a Leitz 90 or 135 in M39 mount is a nice macro lens to play with ...

Cheers
