Modified 50mm on Ebay

I just spotted this modified 50mm on Ebay. The front of the lens lens claims it is a Pentax M 50mm f1.4, but the aperture ring and appearance clearly show it is a Pentax M 50mm f2. Looking at the seller's other items he has but one other camera listed and amongst various miscellaneous other items, so I don't really think the seller is knowledgeable enough to have noticed this modification. I sent him an email informing him about it.

Wow, isn't that something. I've never seen that trick pulled before -- though it's doubtful the seller had anything to do with it. Thanks for the post, it gives me yet another thing to worry about when picking up items off eBay

I asked the seller and he replied:
"This camera listing is going to be pulled something is terribly wrong."

He posted my email and another person's about the modification and pulled the listing.
