K 50mm f/1.2 or cosina Voigtlander 58mm?

The title says it all - keh has the f/1.2 for a pretty good price. I have an smc m 50mm f1.7 and am getting a little tired of having to use stop down metering. At the same time, I am planning on picking up a pentax film slr, so this lens won't be used exclusively on my k200d.

Anyone have any thoughts or comments regarding focusing a f/1.2 lens on a k200d? Would I really see that much of a difference in the light gathering ability? Admittedly, I am also getting a little frustrated with the tiny viewfinder of the k200d.

I should also point out that I am aware that I will still have to use stop down metering for the f/1.2 but not for the Voigtlander.

I'm not sure the one KEH has is an "A" lens which won't requre stopping down.

I don't use the manual focus lenses on bodies without interchangeable screens with focus aids, but for many others, it is not a problem.

I had the Nokton and it's an exellent lens with nice bokeh, but the same can be said about the K 50mm f/1.2 which I currently use.
I would get the K 50mm f/1.2 if I were to choose again mainly becauese of the f/1.2 maximum aperture. Also, the Nokton will be available for a while, but the K 50mm will continue to grow in price with time, so it's a better "investment"

DoF-wise 58/1.4 and 50/1.2 are about the same.
The Nokton has an A-button, the K50 has not (but there also is an A version).
I'd say optically there isn't much difference between them.

I think this would go down to image rendering, half-stop difference, focal length, "A" function, and price.

get 3 out of 5 of those areas and you have yourself a decision.
