Anyone use Ebay seller prodigital2000 for lenses?

Hi,
I'm in the market for the new D FA MACRO 100MM F2.8 WR.
This is currently selling for over £600 in the UK.
However, Ebay seller prodigital2000 is selling it at $599 (+$35 Shipping), this is the equivalent of about £400.
The seller has a very good feedback rating but I was wondering if any UK buyers had any experience with this seller?
I'm itching to order but thought I'd ask in here first.
Thanks,
Mark Morb

Prodigital

Hi Mark
I purchased FDA 100 old model for Prodigital with no problems at all, but don’t forget import duty and vat will be charged by the carrier (UPS).

Thanks Jim.
I guess I need to add another 20% on to cover those additional charges...still brings it in at about £480, cheapest I've seen it in the UK is £649 at SRS Microsystems.
Thanks,
Mark

While I'm in Canada, it's about 3500 KM from prodigital to my home. I've bought most of my stuff from prodigital and have been very happy with them. Watch out for shipping though....as free or cheap shipping isn't packaged in a box (but it arrived fine and was in good shape). I used free shipping once, but since then, I have always paid a little more for shipping and have found it is packed quite well (I'm presuming it would be the same for you).

I would factor in the extra shipping charges you'll see during checkout, and import fees but buy local if you can. If it still cheaper, I wouldn't hesitate to but from prodigital again.

Cheers,
Steve

I am in the USA but I just got a Tamron 17-50 from them and they did great job with me. Free shipping, took them about an hour to reply to email. They shipped very fast. All you could ask for IMHO. If they have what I am looking for I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
Good Luck

I am in Canada (where prodigital2000/123easyship is located) and bought K-m & DA14 from them. The DA14 was defective and they exchanged it for me no problem. Excellent service.

Prodigital2000 rocks. I've gotten two lenses from them, and they've both arrived within a week with no issues.

Bought my DA40 from them and it was something of an ordeal, but not really their fault. Just got caught in an out of stock situation. I'd recommend them.

I just bought my new Tamron 17-50 from theme last week and wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. Their communication & shipping was great, and I had my shipment in 3 days. And that was to the USA by UPS ground.

You can get a ex-demo unit with full warranty here: Pentax 100 mm 2.8 Makro 1:1 (Einzelstück, Vorführmodell) - Foto Erhardt for 500 € flat. That's inside the EU, so no hassle about VAT, customs etc.

Otherwise Prodigital2000 is fine. I bought my FA 31mm from them and that was a smooth transaction.

That's the older non-WR lens. Not worth nearly as much.

That's a good deal Ben, however I've already placed the order with ProDigital2000 now.
€500 is about £440 so it would have saved me about £30...which would have covered the cost of the Hoya Pro-1 UV Filter I've just ordered to go with the new lens.
I'll bookmark that site for the future.
Thanks,
Mark Morb
