Sigma 70-210mm f/4-5.6 UC vs UC-II

Hi everyone,
I am looking to buy a REALLY cheap, REALLY lightweight telephoto zoom, and got to the sigma Ultra-Compact (UC) lenses. For the price, I am thinking of buying the AF version of either.

Does anybody know what's the difference between the UC and UCII?
Any other comments worth mentioning?

Thanks.

I realize this question is many months old, but since I just picked up the UC I guess I'll answer it. I believe the UCII has autofocus. UC has none.

The UC most definitely does have autofocus.

I believe you're wrong, I'm looking at my UC right now and it doesn't have the power pins for zoom.

Here's a description of the minolta one from B&H:
Used Sigma Zoom Telephoto 70-210mm f/4-5.6 UC Manual 778005 -

Also, the one I have, I bought for $1 off ebay. It's crossed my mind that the electronics could be busted, as it doesn't even register it's focal length with the camera, but there's definitely no way this thing is autofocus.

I would go for the UCII. I bought a UC for something like $1 off of ebay. It's wobbly, and sad to say, it's now one of my best lenses. Considering my 'best' lens cost $12, that's really not saying much.

Picked this lens up in rough cosmetic condition from a non-profit auction site I don't name here for $20 shipped. There may well have been a manual version, but there was also an AF version before the UC II.
