Vivitar Lens Help

I bought a Vivitar lens to use with the K10D. The lens is a 24MM 1:2.8 Auto Wide Angle. The serial no. is 37727342. It has C/FD on the rear of the lens. It does not fit. It is a bayonet type lens.

Is there an adaptor for the lens that will allow me to use it. Thanks very much for your help.

The lens is made for Vivitar by Tokina and is a very nice lens. The C/FD means that the lens mount is designed to fit a Canon camera. You might be able to adapt it, but you would be better off selling it and using the money to buy a Pentax mount version.

The lens cannot be adapted directly.

As Tom says, your best bet is to sell or trade it for a Pentax mount lens.
