Aperture ring frozen.

I hadn't used my K 50mm 1:1/4 lens for about a month. i recently had it cleaned, today I tried to change the aperture and I found it difficult to turn. It was momentarily stuck on f1.4, it took a good bit of pressure to get it to turn. It also required firm pressure to turn the ring.
It has been quite cold recently here, temperatures 6-10 celsius, would that affect the lubrication.

If the lens is actually that cold, it could reduce the viscosity of the lubricant. But it shouldn't. Such a poor performance would tell me, that the people, that did the servicing, are using the wrong (cheap) grease for the job.
