Best Choice: Sigma 400 VS 500?

About ready to purchase a super tele lens for my K20 & K10. Have had exceptional pictures with Sigma's 70-200/2.8. Only minor complaint would be the weight but the picture quality and sharpness are worth it.

Sigmas 120-400 HSM would be a step up from my 70-300 Pentax but I'm wondering if I should go all the way to the 150-500 HSM. The 500 is BIG while the 400, no light weight either, would be about the max I would carry consistantly. I have high quality tripods for "fixed" shots, but I still prefer to be able to handhold if possible. Purpose of either lens of course is wildlife. Future purchase would be a teleconvertor for either lens.

Any suggestions?
