I've been keeping my eye on a DA* 16-50 for a few months now, and in the last few weeks, it seems to have been put on backorder at all the big online retailers (amazon, adorama, b&h, pentax), and it's pretty rare to see one used on the marketplace here and on eBay. Does anyone know what's happened? Is this lens gone for good, or is it quietly being updated (maybe to take care of QC or SDM issues)?
