will sigma 24mm/f2.8 af work on K7 ?

I would like to know if anyone has experience using a SIGMA 24mm super wide 2.8 AF lens on a recent PENTAX DSLR (like K20 or K7) . Does the lens Auto Focus properly ?
Please any experiences .

I have the Sigma 24mm/2.8 Superwide II AF lens, and it works perfectly fine on my K200D, like any other K mount AF lens. It would work fine with the K20, K7, or any other Pentax DSLR. It is a very nice lens, but be sure to use a hood with it as it is prone to flare. And it tends to overexpose quite a bit, so you may have to dial down exposure compensation for it. But once you dial it in, it is a great lens.

Since I have no way of knowing if you know anything about cameras I have to say this.
If it has a Pentax K-Mount, then Yes it should work.
If it has an aperture ring you MUST have it on the A setting, to control the F-stop through the body.
If you wish to control the F-stop through the aperture ring you will most likely have to change one setting on your cameras menu.

Thanks a lot guys for your comments.
What setting in the camera has to be set to have aperture dial working in "A" position ?

I read on the web that someone had this lens and his camera would not indicate 2.8 aperture but 3.5. (3.5 is not even indicated on the lens as an aperture) . He thought this would be due to the old chip in the lens and suggested that these lenses had to be re chipped for newer DSLR`s . That worries me a bit as I want to use this lens as well with a PENTAX K7.
Anyone knows anything about this kind of "stories" ?
