Just wanted to share that i made a nice LBA deal...

Test img taken with the lenses, will soon be uploaded......
OK maybe this is an ESL problem, but if you boast about a "great deal" then that does imply you'd be talking about the price as well as the content of said deal.

Maybe you just wanted to share the fact that you were able to buy a camera and several lenses you've always wanted (LBA), as opposed to highlighting the great deal aspect of it (best deal ever).

P.S. Congrats on your acquisition, it looks like a very nice collection of gear!

Just bougt my self a Pentax LX with lenses...

LX in good shape, not mint
17mm mint
28mm mint
50mm in good shape
135mm mint, but with oil spots on blades...

:P
Sounds like a nice package deal, Sila!

The K17/4 FE was the first bit of Pentax glass I bought, before I'd even bought my K-7. I've since added an M28/3.5, an M50/1.7, and an M135/3.5. Slower lenses, but still very nice. But I don't have an LX. . . . (I'd like to get an MX or a KX, though, since my wife's K1000 has some strange problem.)

Enjoy your find!

So as well as boasting about your bargain you are now going to rub his face in it?
I like your style

Not the best deal but ...

... indeed a very nice deal. This was my "deal" (as posted elsewhere on this forum)

and in it (left to right)

SMC Takumar 200mm/4
Spotmatic with Vivitar 55mm/2.8
SMC Takumar 85mm/1.8
Herbert Keppler's "The Asahi Pentax way"

I have replaced the Spotmatic by a refurbed K100D that I bought for this purpose and am enjoying it soooooo much (far more than a FA31 on a K10D). Just waiting for my katzeyes to arrive so I can do proper manual focusing (again).

The deal: it was a gift for my birthday including an Asahi Pentax bellows unit and a Kinotel 2x TC

PS not trying to hijack the thread

I'm not sure I've heard of a K28/2.8. it's probably an M28/2.8.

and the 135mm, is it a Takumar or an SMC?

The photo shows an M28/2.8 and an SMC Pentax 135/2.5.

BTW, the aperture blades are really easy to access on the 135/2.5s. They all unscrew in the middle, no tools needed, blades right there. It's very handy for the Takumar Bayonet, which often requires repeat cleaning.
