Hood for 35-105

I have a Pentax-A 3.5 35-105. It has an Aetna wide angle rubber lens hood. It's very wide but not deep at all and does not provide much "hooding".

Are there better hood's for this lens?

Look for a normal petal hood on ebay

If I was you I'd look for a 67mm "normal" hood on eBay. There are a bunch on now for less than $10 shipped.

You may wish to look for a B&W hood at B&H photo in NY. the 950 series are normal hoods and the 960 series are telephoto hoods.

a normal hood is 21mm deep and a tele hood is about 50mm deep

This Hoya hood looks like it would cover the range:
