I'd say to just pony up for a DA* 16-50 F2.8 and DA* 50-135 F2.8. They're the most common lenses to be on our camera, and if you're going on a remote trip... Of course, another K-x or K-7 body wouldn't hurt.

If you were just going to pick one though, I'd say the 50-135.
