Okay, I'm not going ask which lens is better because we all pretty much know that depends on the photographer's individual priorities and which camera one is using a lens on. But I have three specific questions for those who have or have had access to both lenses:
1) Given that the 30mm offers f/1.4, which lens is sharper at f/1.8?
2) Is the 28mm any sharper at the edges than the 30mm?
3) Does either lens do better when it comes the CA and/or flare?
I still plan on collecting Pentax DA Limiteds... but I really still need a fast (f/2.0 or faster) normal for low-light work and I don't want to spend $475 for a leftover FA 35mm f/2.0. I also like the 28-30mm focal range better as I might opt for the DA 35mm f/2.8 macro down the road.
