thanks, i'm quite interested in one of those lenses but glad I read this.
For a time I was considering swapping it for the DA* 50-135mm for weight and weather-sealing consideration, but that urge has died down.
The main issues with the lens I'd say is the weight (but this is a given for 70-200mm lenses) and that it's a bit soft and lacking contrast wide open. At f/4.0 is is VERY sharp.
Funny, I looked through all my 70-200mm shots and couldn't find an image where the bokeh was just killing me. Here's one where I think it's not great, but not bad either. The girl helps though. ;-)
