I notice that Tamron only seem to be releasing new lenses for Canon, Nikon and Sony now. The new 70-300mm being the most recent announced and no Pentax mount.

These kinds of announcements used to be quite common - but you are right, recent Tamron releases haven't even come down the pipe to Pentax. I guess only Sigma received the memo that Pentax was back, haha. Too bad for us and Tamron.

Sometimes they release the Pentax version at a later date. I assume they're targetting the bigger markets first.

not big fan of Tamron anyway! Sony alpha ain't all that great, local Best Buy barely sells any Sony DSLRs, even they can be mounted with Minolta lenses.
I think Pentax advertising department needs to do a little better job, I've been talking to them, hopefully they can follow up on some ideas... especially in U.S. market
