Anyone remember where that Pentax lens database is?

About a year ago, I visited a site that had an incredible breakdown, including manufacturing dates based on serial #s.

But I aged a year since then and forgot where the heck it is.

Ring a bell at all?

Thanks, but this was mostly M42 Taks.

It was very coarsely put together--like a chart.

There was for a few years a membership website www.m-fortytwo.info that tried to build a database of m42 bodies and lenses. You registered as a contributor and entered your serial numbers and lens or body model into the database. The database was sorted by serial number and you viewed the data in a raw table form.

That website was different than the current m42.net. It died some time last year.

That would be the one Monochrome linked. I was disappointed when that site went defunct because I had entered data into it.

I think it was someone in the UK, maybe Nigel Utting.

It was in fact Nigel Utting and he responded to my email. Is said that the data is safe and that he is in contact with someone interested in reviving the project. It was a case of the project just falling by the wayside and the good news is that Nigel is till around.
