Need help with Price range on a FA lens

STORY: I bought a 645 in pieces from various websites and now its complete. Well two months have gone by and I'm not using it like I thought I would be I've been dying for a new lens so I decided I wanted to sell it.

PROBLEM: I bought a SMC PENTAX-FA 645 1:2.8 75mm lens that was under damaged condition. However, upon getting the lens I found that the ONLY damage was cracks in the filter ring and not to the lens itself. The bits were hanging off the lens but still attached, so I put them back into place (pinched myself too ) and it doesnt move now. No glue, tape, or anything. In fact I can put my filter on and off it without any trouble at all (which will be sold with the lens).

QUESTION: What should I sell the lens at?

The lens

The cracks with the filter in.

Bokeh (developed, enlarged, scanned by me. Dust is from not taking care of the photo)

Crop of a portrait. The hair was very sharp. (developed, enlarged, scanned by me. Dust is from not taking care of the photo)

Sorry, it's hopeless. I'm afraid you'll have to just give it to me for free...

haha. I got it for next to nothing too! (well, compared to one in good condition)
If worse comes to worse I will just buy an adapter for it to stick it on my K10D, but I really want to sell it.

For awhile I wanted to strip off the textured black plastic on the camera and replace it with leather or snake skin But I decided not to haha

I would check KEH for a Fair condition lens and go from there. Even though you managed to fix it, it IS still a broken lens. Looks like they only have the A75 lenses right now.. A new one can be had at Samy's for $485..

Thanks Jeff. While it IS broken, it doesnt effect the quality of photos AND the filters still work, so fair sounds right. I should put it on ebay with a reserve of $1000 and see what people would pay haha

well with the recent release of the 645D, I noticed that a lot of these lenses have doubled in price (or more)

It wouldn't shock me to see somebody pay it. If I still had my 645nii and needed a 75 I would pay a Reasonable price, even with the chipped filter ring.
