DA* Zooms in the Pentax Store

I noticed today that both the DA* zooms are available in the Pentax online store- is this old news, or does it mean that they've finally available?

For the sake of travel convenience, not necessarily image quality, I'd like to bring the 16-50mm along instead of the DA 12-24mm/FA* 28-70mm combo on my next trip.

Well I started to order it from their website and got as far as "Create an account", so I quit....I figured they would have asked for my CC number as well later on. Anyone want to lend me their CC # and I'll see if the order actually goes through? I'll be sure to come back and let you know if the lens actually shows up!

So I was able to add it to the cart

No, they won't, according to Pentax themselves. They have been delayed again... According to Pentax UK there are none expected now until the end of August.

I was warned of this latest delay by camera shop staff a week ago. UK importer Intro2020 confirmed it then. Yesterday I finally got confirmation from Pentax... there's no mention of it here or on other Pentax forums though. News travels slow in Pentaxland
