I had put my hood on backwards as usually when done shooting but I tried to take it off and its not coming off. Usually it comes off quite easily.. I don't want to force it. Anyone have this problem?

I don't have the mod.II but when a hood gets stuck on my 18-55 or 18-250, I just force it. The hoods are pretty damn tough plastic and not easy to break.

flip over to MF and have a good twist at it. sometimes its like a new bottle of jam...

MF? Well it's off the camera and it has QS.

It was super easy the first 500 times, I yanked somewhat hard but felt like I must've put it on wrong. Hope it doesn't break, I'll try it when I come back to it Sunday.

oh good for you, i usually twist em right off the lens while attached to the camera...
