How much is it worth?

I have a Sigma Telephoto 70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro Autofocus Lens for Pentax AF is excellent condition. I bought it because I was getting into macro photography but with the birth of my daughter I have been honing my portrait skills. The 50mm and this 70mm are too long for indoors in small rooms. If I were to sell it how much should it be worth?

if you sell it for $450, you might be able to get rid of it within a week.

They are $499 shipped from BH at present that includes a 3-yr extend USA warranty.

The data base is what reviewers paid for their lens whether it was new or used and that's if they reported it at all. The average in the data base is probably on the high side because of someone in Canada and Finland paying $550 and $560 for theirs.

Check Ebay sales. That's about the max any used lens can get.

It is good for outdoor portraits if you want them to be incredibly sharp. But I have a 50 1.4 for outdoor stuff.
