Pentax 35mm f/2.8 LTD

Love it, what a versatile lens. Shot I took this morning in ambient light - looking for curves and texture here, I love doing portraits of flowers indoors on weekend mornings .

ISO 400 f/4, hand held.

I particularly like how the K7 renders Jpegs, all the way up to ISO 2500. I've found a combination of base settings that seem to keep the grain a bit tighter and more uniform in shadow areas too.

I don't even think twice about shooting up to ISO 800 in the K7, that gives me a lot of room to work with in terms of sensitivity. Can't say I didn't think twice using other cameras!

very nice. that lens is on my short list.

That specific pic is so monochromatic already, did you consider a B&W conversion?

My 35mm f/2.8 Macro Ltd is arriving tomorrow

I'm looking forward to trying it out on some trout flies over the next couple of weeks.

Then I'll be using those same flies to try and fool a few trout before releasing them to fight another day.

Fly fishing and LBA - what a combination!

My 35 f/2.8 shows up this week, but haven't had a shance to limber up my 8wt yet.

Kindest Regards

Mine arrived today. And I just got back from fishing too (one nice 51cm brown trout, gently released to fight another day)

I'll try and take some macro shots of trout flies over the next few days, and see just how well this 35mm performs.

Heaven...! Wouldn't be dead for quids!
