DA 55-300mm and Raynox 150

Can anyone tell me the approximate minimum focus distance at each end of this set up?

Focused as closely as possible:
160mm @ 300mm zoom,
170mm @ 55mm zoom.

Including the thickness of a filter ring.

I only use the Raynox 150 at infinity focus on the 55-300mm. That's about 210mm from the front element and provides between 1:1.38 and 1.4:1 macro, just by zooming. That's a hell of a lot of range.

I find that if I use minimum subject distance (i.e. set 55-300 at its closest focus), I get fewer keepers. I haven't done formal testing but I suspect that minimum focus distance causes reduced depth of field.
