Tamron 18-200 vs Sigma 18-200

I would like to gather some opinions on the following lenses:
  1. Tamron 18-200/f3.5 - 6.3 (pentax mount)
  2. Sigma 18-200/f3.5 - 6.3 (pentax mount)

Which is better? I know this is subjective but your opinions are valued here.

I got the tamron version and am rather happy with it. Its usable wide open, but gets much better when you add 1 stop.

Before I got it, I was trying to find the difference between the sigma and the tamron. But I didn't find any samples, remarks that would have rated one better over the other.

Sigma Lens: Zooms - Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC (Tested) -!

Tamron Lens: Zooms - Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical IF AF (Tested) -!
Tamron Lens: Zooms - Tamron 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II LD Aspherical IF Macro AF (Tested) -!

Another comparison for you The tamron 18-250 is the successor and is improved over the tamron 18-200 from what I hear... but it does cost more.

Raider, I own the 18-200 Tamron lens. It was the lens I purchased with my K10d and for awhile the only lens I owned. I have been satisfied with the quality of the lens and the photos. Mind you, I am quite new to digital photography but for my current talents I think it is a fine walk around lens. It works for me.

I Read review in Digital Camera Shopper while back, Tamron did not receive very good rating... There is an older thread here too I had a chance to compare both on my old Canon body, I found that Tamron (after 2 copies) was not as sharp as Sigma, just personal experience...
