About PR by FA 31mm

I shoot 2 pictures in the same situation, the same scene, the same light.
But one has serious PR, but one has none...
I am wondering how will the PR come?
The one has PR is about 1eV higher than the another one..

What's 'FR'? Is it fringing?

If so, it may well be because the lens aperture is wider. Most lenses tend to fringe the most wide open, and decrease from there. Not sure about the 31mm.

I have found the optical performance of my FA31 inconsistent too. Either due to slightly focus differences or glass wobbliness, the exact identical setup on tripod could yield quite a difference in sharpness and pf with a few shots in a row. I have yet to investigate the root cause though.

Post photos with full exif intact. What the heck is FR or PR? Either call it purple fringing or CA (chromatic aberration).

I'd be returning a lens that cost that much and doesn't work properly.
