Not-so-well-known but similar conditions include CBA (for cameras) and FBA (for flashes).

Hmmm, if I review my SMC-A 35-80 and boost its rating to 3.1, you'll buy it then?

I'm trying to determine if my LBA/CBA is in remission. [/me hastily scribbles totals, cringes.] Yes, way too many, although I can claim that some cameras were gifts or inheritance, and some cameras and many lenses were incidental to buying what I wanted. And I haven't bought anything but adapter rings in a year. Am I cured? Or just broke? Will I go hog-wild again after the next inheritance? (C'mon Uncle Ray, drink the lemonade.)

Sure. "Low" is a standard too.

(Reminds me of the line, "Sure, I'm in shape. FAT is a shape too!")

On a direct deposit payday?

Of course.

What choice do I have?

Forget the database, I've been resorting to scouring Pbase and Flikr for shots from 'sleeper' lenses. I think I have a handle on the CBA, went through several Pentax models with a detour into Ricoh Madness...except that I'm getting kinda interested in a small rangefinder for a walk-around camera. Crazy Camera Guy at the local flea market had some interesting stuff on Friday. I had to get my buddy to drag me away and not let me visit the ATM.

Oh Ho!! An entire new category for a CBA attack!

Olympus RD?
Canon QL17 G-III (or who needs a battery check button - New QL17)?
Yashica Electro 35?
Yashica 35GX?
Rollei 35s?
Olympus XA?

[EDIT] OMG - there must be 500 entries under Rangefinder on CameraQuest!!

hilarious!!

you're all very funny and thanks for the great comebacks. I did not have it figured out correctly, I thought it might be 'lens buying angst', but sadly i was wrong. I'm glad I asked though 'cause it made me laugh. and I learned something (scrolling over the underlined word).
thanks a bunch.

Read through all the A vs B vs C threads and I think you'll see that your term is just as accurate.

I resemble that remark.

[Currently with 8 180-240 primes and 5 xx-200x zooms. Help me.]
