So many lens is out of stock right now on B&H or Adorama

What's going on? Will they be back soon?
I know the lens has been out of stock on Adorama for months, so I won't count on it...but...B&H seems to be good in this aspect, however, now...may be due to the vacation?
Anyone knows?

A lot of Pentax accessories are out of stock or "temporarily unavailable" at B&H and Adorama, too. It's a pain. Just out of curiosity, which lens are you talking about?

It's a result of all the Passover shopping. (It's a joke.)

But I wonder if this has anything to do with the tax deadline and how heavy inventories impact them?

It's all those new Pentax lovers. Pentax can't keep up the production.

Its an intervention by God to make sure you don't buy the wrong lens. You are likely waffling.

God just emailed me a list of places that have them in stock, so I can email it to him.

He said it was a Passover gift to me.

Didn't he make everyone buy up all the guns and ammo too? Because of all his (non-existent),,,,,

wait, this isn't the right category to continue this comment.

Out of Stock?

I'd say it has to do with inventory, tax season, general poor economy not encouraging stores to load up on inventory when sales are weak everywhere. Things will pick up soon.

Both businesses announced they were closing for several days for Passover. Another reason is probably a very tight inventory control policy. It's better to be constantly turning over stock than to have large amounts of unsold inventory taking up space.

It's end of fiscal and inventory for a lot of places coinciding with tax prep time. Despite scaremongering about inflation, there's masses of surplus production and shipping capacity out there, so to make margins, you have to choke of supply at manufacture.
