what line up would you recommend for coming holiday?

OK,

this is another one of those where I can't make my mind up.
Me and my wife are going for holiday in May and are traveling light. Hand luggage only!
We are planning to spend two weeks with my family in Slovakia, 4-5 days out of these will be in moderate mountains with 1-2 hikes expected and boozy evenings in poor light/indoors. One day we would love to go and see Budapest (capital of Hungary with quite a few historic spots and streets) which is only 1hr by train away.

All I have is in my sig.
I'll definitely take both bodies, 31ltd. Most probably my wife will want her Tammy for the mountains, and I'm thinking of AF280T for some bounced indoor stuff (it's first time we'll see my nephew who was born in January).
But what with the rest? Which one of 43/50/55? I really like them all...
For mountains, I believe 24 would do it for me, but in historic town, I'm pretty sure 10-20 will come VERY handy.
But to take it all? It would take like 1/4 of all available space... I sure could do with one pair of trousers less and minus some T shirts, but to lug around all that weight?

So, my fellow Pentax friends, what combination of lenses would you recommend to cover me on all fronts?

I'll share with you the kit for my coming 3 weeks trip in Europe

K20D + DA* 16-50 + DA* 50-135 + FA* 24 + FA43 Ltd + FA 77 Ltd

I can hear my DA 12-24 and Sigma 70-200mm calling out for me though

Based on my experience, I expect the 16-50 to be attached to my K20D for 40% of the time

As for the rest, 30% will go to the 50-135 and 10% for each of the primes

Please share with us your decision

I'm sure through mutual comparison, we can make better decisions

USA-only joke: I hate it when you have to fly someplace that Southwest doesn't serve.

Mail the flash, Tamron and K55/1.8 to your family in advance. I think the Sigma 10-20 wins out over the K24/2.8 because you're bringing the FA31 (close in FL), 24 isn't that wide and you can use the Sigma in the city. I'd choose the FA43 if the mail idea is practical, fitting well between 31 and 55. It leaves you with 10-20, 31, 43, 55 and 70-300. You'd be carrying two cameras and three lenses.

thanks Dave.
Problem is, my wife LOVES 31ltd so I see her using that lens 85% of the time.
If I'd take what you suggest I would either have to go with 43 or 10-20 as walk around and that's my problem. I prefer 24+43 combo much more...
...decisions, decisions, decisions....

Until this message, I thought it would be nice if my wife was interested in photography. But not if she's going to use all the good lenses.

I did not even notice a problem when my widest lens on film was 35mm. A 24mm lens on APS-C shouldn't be too bad. Stitching might help in an emergency. I could convince myself that it would be OK to leave the 10-20 home, but that's partly because I don't own one.
