Has anybody used the above filter, or have any knowledge of it?

CPL-72-JYC Technology(HK)Co.,Ltd.

It's a fair bit cheaper than the pro versions on offer from Hoya and Kenko, whilst still offering a similar spec.

Never heard of this one. But there are a lot of manufacturers so you can't know everything.

Also not that well known but still looking good is this one: Polarizing filters test - Marumi DHG Super Circular P.L.D 72 mm - Lenstip.com

I'll buy one tomorrow so I can't say anything about it right now. But people who own one seem to be happy.

Ebay prices are about $90/70€+

I notice that there are two versions of the Marumi, a DHG and DHG Super. If I'm correct the difference being that the Super has slightly superior coatings, and is therefore dearer.

Cheapest Ebay price for the Super is £55 from Hong Kong.

I found these filters on ebay. I'm considering JYC PRO1-D polarization filters. Somebody here who uses them? Any positive/negative experience?

JYC is a Shen Zhen, China camera accessory maker. It's unlikely their filter their filter coatings will be on par with products from German or Japanese makers.
