Looking for a good quality

Hello, I am looking for a good quality polarizing filter for my K20D (49mm). I am facing difficulties to find one.
Please could you advise?

Anything by Hoya, B+W, and such will be high quality. Anything by Tiffen will be good enough. I cannot fanthom how you could have difficulties finding a 49 mm polarizer. Could you explain more? Lack of availability shouldn't be an issue, so maybe you tested some and didn't like them?

I'd get a 49-52 step up ring. You are going to use the polarizer so infrequently it won't matter that it is slightly bigger.

Or go all the way to 58mm (though resist the urge to stack step up rings to get to the "standard" 77mm filter

).
