These are images used on the Russian Pentax website for their K7

I'm pretty sure those are still usable too... :P

Just get the URL from the thread or post you want to refer to.

"".
Then type whatever you want to use to refer to the thread/post, e.g., "My K200D got soaked".
Then type "".

That's it.
Thank you, Got it, I think! In the meantime I found the little ball and chain symbol. Code looks fun: is there a dictionary?

I took my K200 with 16-50* to the Maid Of The Mist attraction in Niagara Falls. The camera was completely wet. Water on the UV filter even seen on the pictures I shoot there as blured areas. The camera is fine.
I did the same with my K-7+*16-50 and K10D+*50-135 last October. Water splash was so heavy that it was hard to stand still, but the camera and lens worked flawlessly. I used both dials and even changed modes (between P, Av, and Movie.)
The biggest problem is not the water entering the equipment, but water on the lens and the finder. Many of wide angle shots were unusable due to severe water droplets on the front element - even if you had a car wiper attached to the lens, it won't be enough under the Niagara Falls.

It is a shot from january.
It was snowing all day and I thought: It is weatherproof
And it is. Still working like a charm
I too took my cameras outside during the Snowcalypse in Washington, DC, and they performed as advertised in the cold and snow.

Whenever I get my cameras wet, I have hard time cleaning the finder. I can clean it, but I can't clean it beautifully as new, especially around the corners and edges. How do you people do it?

My K10 and I took a headlong dive into a shallow river, and survived to live another day.

The camera was completely submerged in the mud and water, so I rinsed it off with clean bottled water and wiped it down, and carried on using it.
That was over two years ago and I've had no problems at all.

It looked a bit like the camera in the Russian advert when my friend picked it up.
