I bought and sold one in mint condition (caps, box, paperwork) for about $90 about a year or so ago.

Check ebay for what they've been selling for lately.

edit: Just checked ebay.ca and yours is the only listed one in Canada.

I saw a used one for $200, no box or paperwork. So $100 seems a little low.

I had a mint A 35mm f/2.8 for a brief time. I bought it for $100 and sold it from $120

Beautiful lens, I just wanted AF to catch the kids more frequently. The DA 40 is the answer for me.

From f/4 this lens is sharper than the A35/2, why not keep it?

Just got the rare bigger brother A 35mm f/2 from my friend Frank yesterday and I have to say this lens is just stunning.

Are both of these lenses rare? I have never heard of either of them before, and I think that if I had before I would have got one. I love this focal length, so why not? Looks like they're not the cheapest lenses though.

That depends on when. The f2.8 version were quite plentiful and affordable back then. It was until these 3 years many old Pentax lenses have been snapped so quickly on used market, the prices have raised beyond reasonable level.

I had an easier time finding info on the 2.0 than the 2.8

I think I'd like the f/2 better, but if I can find the f/2.8 for cheaper and easier, then I'll probably go with that one. Next time I get a Pentax camera I'm definitely getting one of them though!
