i own a k-x with k-x kit lenses
should i change my da-l 18-55mm for the Da 16-45mm
I found one around 200$ mint with B+W filter? is this a steal?

I have just recently bought one for £134.00 inc shipping in the UK, its a great lens. I just keep the lens on my K10d all the time, it was worth buying.

Hope this helps.

I have found the DA16-45 optically better especially at the wide end. However, this lens is prone to misalignment due to the lousy way the body was designed. If buying used, make sure you can return just in case.

I bought this lens 3 years ago and still absolutly love it. It is very sharp across the entire focal range and produces great colors.

its a good bargain as long as it is in perfect working condition. if you have the money, I would suggest the upgrade is well worth it. it is a very sharp lens, just big though compared to the kitlens.

and goodluck with the LBA. its a horrible disease.

Funny you mention the 16-45, I was just thinking, damn I love mine and why don't I shoot it more. I am going to take it out for a hike after work. Need to find some clouds for this weeks photo contest.

PS for the record I have never had the same feeling for my 18-55.
