Pentax pk mount

If it won't attach, it means the flange protecting the aperture lever is too long. It can be removed and dremeled out, or simply removed. Pretty easy.

If it fits but won't lock, then the socket where the locking pin is supposed to lock is too small or shallow, dremel it carefully.

i tried removing the flange which protects the aperture lever but still won't turn much and lock. i'll try to dremel and see if it works.. thanks guys for the inputs...

Also check the three ears on the lens mount. It could have been dropped and one of them could be bent a little.
Does the lens turn to where it lines up as it should?

thanks a lot bro..thats exactly the cause.. one of the ear of the lens mount was bent, by the way i got the lens on ebay never mentioned that, anyway its perfectly fine now. will be trying the lens soon. thank you again for the help
