We'd need to see the mount to be sure, but I'd almost bet there's a very broad flange that protects the moveable aperture lever. Compare it to a Pentax lens. If that's the problem, the guard can be removed or reduced to PK proportions.

do you have a photo of the mount as well? I cant seem to see how the mount looks or have a clear idea. it could be that the flange is bigger eventhough it appears to be a p/k lens.

Be careful. have a read of these threads:
Doesn't look to me like this Albinar lens mount is actually properly compatible

The lens he has is not a Ricoh pinned lens. It is a plain manual one. I have several of that same lens, and they fit my cameras no problem.

I wanted to point out the same. It doesn't seem to P/K R lens which would suggest Ricoh mount.
Even if, than I'd expect the lens to mount, but get stuck.
That's why I've asked what does "won't fit"mean...

I've had this with 3rd party lenses before. Usually the notch at the end nearest the inside is too shallow. It comes from the cheaper machining methods used. I've used a Dremel to deepen it and sometimes widen a hair. Tolerances on the cheaper lenses was sometimes hit or miss.

If it were PK/R i.e. Pentax/Ricoh mount, it would also be A compatible. That lens is not A.

well, I think the wildlifephotog hit the nail then.
If the lens will turn as much as is should, the only reason for it not to lock is if the "hole" for locking pin is:
a) too shallow
b) misaligned

in any of those two situations dremel should help, but please don't ask me, I've never done it
