Very nice shots Jean. I was a little slow realising this thread existed, but its another welcome spot to share all my many Helios 44 photos and see others!! This is by a Helios 44-2 a few days ago, still the most fun of the 44-2, 44M and 44M-4 I own.

just went through all the pages of this thread.great pictures everyone. just waiting on my 44-2 and 44m-7 to arrive along with the m42 adapter. My LBA has come back after a long time but this time I chose the cheap(er) route

"Congratz" and hope that you like them ... it's definitely the cheaper and possibly better (best) route. Awesome bang for the buck lenses ... hands down.

i do think its worth it though. i might not have found a super bargain like some of the people on here but whatever you do dont buy anything from user "moscowphoto" as the 44m-7 lenses he sells are not m-7's but another series from Helios

Thanks for your post and I have seen the items at "moscowphoto" ... Probably where I would buy if I cannot find one cheaper elsewhere.

There's two swap meet/expos in my "area" this month and I am going to drive to both of them. Hopefully, I might score one there ... and trade away a bunch of excess, unused gear.
