What is the year of manufacture of the 44K-4? I have been tempted to get one, though I am still looking for a good 44-3.

supposedly, the first two digits of the serial number indicate the YOM - my 44K-4 has a serial that begins with '92'....

Mine is the 8-bladed black version and is one of my favourites.
Definitely need to get a 13-bladed one.
