I have used the Sigma 17-70 for quite some time now, and am rather attached to it.
It is a great everyday lens that can be left on the camera most of the time, and indeed, has Macro capability as well.

I cannot test the lens yet . I just put it on my old KZ-10 , very clear lens. look Great

Damnit, now you're making me want to buy this lens again...maybe if I win the K-x I'll get it to replace the kit lens, it's only $250 or so for the Pentax mount anyways...hmmm. I absolutely loved that lens, just wish it had more reach since it was the only lens that I had at the time that I had it.
