Vivitar 28mm F2.8

I recently acquired a Vivitar 28mm F2.8 lens. It has stamped on it PK-A/R-PK97011315. I want to use this on my Pentax K-x. Do I have to worry about a Ricoh pin on this lens?

Welcome to the Pentax Forums! Your Viv is a composite Ricoh-P, Pentax KA mount. It was designed to support both types of camera. As such, you might have an issue, depending on how the pin was implemented. Is it a ball-bearing or a pin? The ball types are supposed to be more resistant to getting stuck on the camera. In any case, mount at your own risk.
