The DFA 100mm f2.8 WR does not have a focus limiter. I believe the Non WR version does. It is true that the lens can hunt endlessly in lower light situation. I've gone to MF relying on the AF confirmation beep when using mine in those situations. If you're hoping to use it as a portrait lens of sorts, one word of caution.. This lens is BRUTALLY honest and will show, in vivid detail, every line, pore, wrinkle, and pimple in someone's skin. Even at f2.8.
I don't know that I would sell the DA70 to buy one (I don't own the 70 but certainly wouldn't have sold my 77 to pay for it). If the DA70 is a Bag dweller however, and you think you'll get more use from the 100mm, go for it.
As for the bokeh, I like it...

The DFA 100 non-WR does not have a focus limiter (I have the lens). It has a focus clamp - which essentially turns off AF (if in AF mode) and locks the focus ring in place. It's intended to fix the lens at a desired focus distance (e.g. for 1:1 macro), rather than a focus limiter which does not turn AF off but rather restricts it to one of two focus ranges ('normal' - 1.5m to infinity? - and 'macro')
