Sharpest Lens you own?

I keep going back to my SMC Takumar 55mm f/1.8 or the 50mm f/1.4

I keep being amazed by the colour, clarity and sharpness of both lenses. The 50mm is a bit more difficult to work with compared to the 55mm. In fact, both lenses can be quite 'brutal' in their honesty when taking portraits.

Well, it's really nice to read a discussion where so many lenses I own are mentioned as "sharpest"......

My sharpest are: M28mm/3.5, K35mm/3.5, DA40mm/2.8, M50mm/1.4, M50mm/1.7, K55mm/1.8, A50mm/2.8macro...............

And yes, I regard myself very lucky with this collection...........

Leica R Summicron 50mm. On my K7 lens clearly outresolves the sensor.
Pentax FA 43mm Limited. Sharpest Pentax stopped down, though not sharper than the Leica above.

--all stopped down to a certain degree.
... but it's all pretty close!

DA* 55 f/1.4 From f/2.0 and up.

I am certainly eyeing up those limiteds for a wider sharp prime.

It's hard to tell which of my lens is the sharpest, they are all sharp! Of all my sharp lens, I think the Tamron SP 90mm f2.8 Di macro and Pentax K 28mm f3.5 are the sharpest followed by the FA 50mm f1.4, FA 31mm f1.8 Ltd and DA* 50-135mm f2.8.

It's a toss up between the M 28m f3.5 and the M50mm f1.4.And surprisenly my Chinon 50mm f1.7 is also up there.
