Sharpest Lens you own?

So what's the bar-none sharpest lens you own?

Macro-Takumar 1:4/50 preset 1:1

doesn't get much sharper than this I think. it always blows me away, even wide open.

Considering my modest lens collection, I'd say mine is my Sigma EX 105mm Macro.

DFA100mm f2.8 WR... Crazy sharpness would have to be expected in a macro lens though. For a Normal lens, I would have to say the A50 f1:1.4 rivals most in my kits in terms of being sharp.

At what F/stop? All of my lenses are brutally sharp when stopped down, but wide open the difference is noticeable.

They're all so close - subjectively ranked:

K28/3.5, K35/3.5

Tamron SP 90/2.5 Tele-Macro

K135/2.5, FA35/2

DA 40 Limited has excellent sharpness even wide open. Probably one of Pentax's best lenses without the "Legendary" price.

I would say the FA35. I use it mostly at f2 - f2.8

well despite the F/stop I'd still say my sigma 105mm macro is the sharpest.
