By the way, there are a lot of presets that are missing a photo of them. If at all possible, would any owner of one post a picture of them in the reviews? So i know what to look for. Even better, if you can make a small review of it I will really appreciate it. If I get a 100/3.5 i'll post a photo and review.

The 5,6/200. Very contrasted, very good colours rendering, sharp form wide open. Yes, I know, it's F/5,6 lens, but the mayoprity of 200 lenses are F/4, only one paerture fsater. No much, almost nothing.
And only a few F/4 have the very good IQ of the tele takumar 5,6/200.

135/3.5 is good too. I use that and the 200/5.6 on a bellows for macro from distance. Nice colors.

+1 for the 300mm f6.3. Example:

And plus 1 for the Macro Takumar 50mm preset.

There are lots of presets in the Schneider and Isco and similar lenses - some are quite cheap and some rather expensive.

f3.5/200mm:

two colored preset f3.5/135mm:

two colored f2.8/105mm:

( same optical formula as auto Takumar f2.8/105, 4 elements in 4 groups )

all black version:

( same optical formula as Super and S-M-C Takumars f2.8/105mm 5 elements in 4 groups )

Takumar f2/58mm

all are very good performers!

samples I can provide mostly of the all black f2.8/105mm and the f2/58mm

black f2.8/105mm:

f2/58mm:

here more: Takumar 58mm f2 - a set on Flickr

btw. I will be selling the f3.5/135mm shown and another copy of the f2/58mm, but only later this year, in October, once I will be back in my country - and only because I have more than one copy of each ;-)

Good post Kuaan. I am glad to see someone that knows the differences in the preset 105 Taks! I am envious of that 58/2. Those presets are greatly under-appreciated.

Don't do it, Andreas. Sell it to me instead; I want one on my K-5 and the other on my 5D

I need a bumper sticker.

WILL KILL FOR 2-RING PRESETS

I only have a few now:

Mir-1 BV 37/2.5 (M42, 8 iris blades)
Macro-Takumar 50/4 (1:1, 8 blades)
Jupiter-9 85/2 (M39, 15 blades)
Opticam 135/2.8 (T2, 10 blades))
Hanimar Preset 135/3.5 (13 blades)
Jupiter-11 135/4 (M39, 11 blades)
Tele-Takumar 200/5.6 (10 blades)

and I've only ever sold one:

Sunset Telephoto 135/2.8 (8 blades)

I recall that I sold the Sunset because it had a bit more fringing than I like. Otherwise, these multi-blade preset lenses are all pretty much BOKEH MONSTERS! Especially with 10 or more iris blades. I like such multi-blade wonders.

On a related note, I just scored a few Ilex aperture assemblies with 13 iris blades. These were apparently meant for 140/4.5 enlarger lenses. Ah, now I can mount some aperture-less projector and other lenses in them, turn them ALL into bokeh monsters! Life is good!
