sorry if wrong place

I recently got a inherited a tokina 400 atx sd lens (about 1 year ago) in pentax mount. I shoot minolta/sony. I was thinking of selling the lens but figured I would just get an adapter to use with it. My question- Is this adapter compatable with the lens? I don't get the Pentax-PK mount. Is that manual only mount or all pentax lens.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! The adapter should adapt almost any K-mount lens to fit your camera as manual focus with full manual aperture diaphragm. The exceptions would be the more recent Pentax lenses without aperture rings. Two cautions:
  • You will have to use manual, stop-down metering, assuming that your camera body supports that mode
  • The adapter contains an auxiliary lens (required to attain infinity focus) that may degrade performance somewhat
Hope this helps.
