Glad you found the answer, but since this a common point of confusion:
First, *all* lenses that you will be using a K mount. That's the generic terms for every lens intended to mount to your camera. So just because a lens says K-mount, that doens't mean there is anything at all you "lose".
But it is true that technically speaking, there are different "flavors" of K-mount: the original K, KA, KAF, KAF2, etc. See
